I can start embedding lots of things you might not find easily elsewhere. Here is a terrific talk by the ever engaging G. Edward Griffin who gives a very easy to understand statement of what is going on in the world, why it is going on and, most importantly, what can be done about it.
This is a very cool book. It is called "The Ethics of Money Production" and is all about where money comes from. When my father used to tell me that money doesn't grow on trees he was trying to tell me that it comes in exchange for work or other valuables. How wrong he was when it comes to looking at where fiat money comes from.
It probably isn't very practical to read it from here but you can download it as a pdf from the menu below.
Some predictions. These aren't really that hard to believe. They just follow some obvious directions a little further into the future. For some really outrageous predictions see the puppet pundits on how short the "credit crunch" recession is going to be and how the government is taking care of everything. I thought I'd put them up and see if I get any reactions. Assuming of course that I still have some readers - I know I don't deserve them after so few posts in the last year or so. Anyway...
We are living in what the Chinese proverb calls "interesting times".
Fortunately there is good analysis about what is going on. For a very good start read this article by Lew Rockwell.
